-This tax increase only affects earned income. Retirees and those with income from social security, pensions, or investments won’t be taxed.
– If you work in another city and already pay 2.5% in taxes, you won’t owe anything extra to Clayton.
-For a majority of Clayton residents, voting FOR on Issue 6 will actually reduce their income tax
